Arabella's 1st birthday........

Image- Anton and Cissy.
Papers and flowers- Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box.

Morning everyone!

I had a special 1st birthday card to make for my niece Arabella so Anton and Cissy was just perfect for the job.I love how I can get Tyrese and Arabella on the card in one perfect image from the shop! yipeeeeee!!!

It's such a blessing to have Maurie's images at times like this because I so love to make their cards personal and it's super special to have the images to be able to do that.

And of course, those stroke only papers and flowers from my Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box were still sitting there on my crafty desk so I had to use those too!! he he!!!

Today is my first session of radiotherapy. I'm a bit nervous about it but it's going to be over so quickly I bet I don't even get chance to bit a lip with nerves! I have a little chat appointment first and then the actual deed of rads but by 10:15am it should all be over and I shall be making my way home. Luckily I have Scott and Mo coming with me for this first one so they can be my big girl pants for me!!!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Cause I love you Tilda........

Romantic Lace Doo Hickeys.
Memory Box Butterfly Delights.
Papers and flowers- Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box.
Morning all!

I've been for a lovely walk with my BF's pawsy peep and now I've got some time t blog away my latest make.

This card is for my fabulous MIL. I wanted to do something a little different and super special with some of my scrumptious Magnolia bits for her and my little Lou head cogs were ticking away with a tutorial that I have used many times and still adore by Dawn Griffith, the shadow box tutorial. It's such a wonderful little card because of the depth in that little window piece.

I put my own spin on the base card pieces by using my new Recipe Card Doo Hickeys with the Dream Tag Doo Hickeys for the cut out window! super yey because it looks sooo cute!! I used the cut out part of the Dream Tag to write our message on for the back piece with a few of the little hearts from my Romantic Lace Doo Hickeys glued on along the bottom (....I don't know why this lace die is retired, its truly a stunner with those little magical hearts).
I fussy cut my little Lovely Emojis Cause I Love you Tilda out and then popped her out on some foam so she stands out. I paper pieced her little heart in her hand with a scrap of the paper left from the card base and then sparkled it up with some glitter before glossy accent'ing it for extra pretties!! then it was onto some hold gently, use very carefully flowers from Mary and Andrea over at the Ribbon Girl. I love these little flowers!! they came in my Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box that my beautiful friend Wendy got me for my birthday.

I added a couple of strips of a grass die around her feet but you can't see them too well in the piccies, you can just see them inside the window on the piccy above and then I used a couple more scraps of the paper to cut out some little butterflies with my Memory Box Butterfly Delights die.

Right, time for me to scoot! I have some bits I need to do today (....mainly finishing off undercoating my kitchen, hoovering and steam mopping but I can make it sound exciting by saying I have some bits to do!! lol!!!). Thank you so much for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Fairy Wishes.....

Image- Fairy Wishes.
(I used 0.75 size)
Pens- Promarkers.
Morning all!!

Well I've been busy this morning since I got up but I'm just getting a few minutes now to sit and get some me time and catch up on the old bloggy posting!! and I am so excited today because I've really been sitting on my hands since monday to post this make!! he he!!

I am so excited to be on the MIC team and even more excited to see Krista's images coming into the store! (oh my!! the squeeee's from me can probably be heard worldwide everytime Zoe tells us there's more coming!!!!!!!) and then on monday morning I woke up to see Zoe had done a live video using Fairy Wishes and covered colouring transparencies within the image ( like her wings and little skirt) and I just had to have a go right away!!

I had a blast colouring her up and then I had just the most perfect little chippies too go with her!! the Mini Dragonflies tinklings are just way too cute!!! I coloured them up and splodged some glossy accents on to pop them out even more....ooooh I love them!!

Here is a little piccy of them a bit closer up...swoooon!!
I can never get sparkle to show when I take a piccy from a distance but it's a little better cropped in!

Right, I need to get moving! We need a little walk before we have lunch so I'm going to do that now. I am slowly getting back to being me and moving around some more now my legs and feet aren't quite so sore and swollen!! it feels so nice to be able to schmooooze around without feeling 100 yrs old already!! he he he!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks Fun Animals bunny cuteness...

Sentiment- Love and Smiles from YNS.
Papers- MME Noteable.
Afternoon all!!

I was so going to post this card earlier but then Mo and I went for a lovely walk with my BF, found another BF on the way round and had a lovely little play at the park before returning which time a small Mo was hungrier than a bear so our first job when we got in was lunch!! Now the bear cub has been fed and is chilling out with 30 mins of TV while I catch up on my bloggy!!

I couldn't wait to play with this new set from Tiddly Inks today. The little animals are so cute (Mo and I call them Funimals instead! he he!!!!) I chose the gorgeous little bunny since I have 2 of my own and I adore them. The little sentiment is one from one of my YNS stamp sets and it just went perfectly with this card because I am going to give it to Scott. (.I often wonder if he gets bored of getting little cards from me all the time but hey, he is just rather fabulous and deserves to be told so!!!).

We don't really have much else planned for this afternoon at all. My new Doo Hickey 15 Sail Away set has arrived in the post from Suha over at Swedish House Crafts so I am going to have a little look at those over a nice hot cuppa with a couple of biscuits.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Shoulders boy and Look Ma Girl....

Images- Shoulders Boy C.
Morning everyone!
It's Lou in with a post for you today and I've been busy making a birthday card for one of my amazing BF's mini peeps to give to their Daddy for his birthday.

Her little boy has the most beautiful curly hair so Shoulders Boy C was just perfect to get the right effect for his hair and her little girl has totally rocked the riding a bike without stabilizers thing this week....I mean like take the stabilizers off and she was gone straight away!! and I was super lucky to see it all happen too, so special.

So I really wanted the card to reflect all those elements...thank goodness for Maurie and her amazing images because I knew where to head right away!!

I'm not sure what me and my little guy will be up to today yet. I've got some swelly legs and feet and my BP is a bit pants so I need to ring the Dr to see about getting my BP meds sorted and a but of a diuretic tablet to sort out the swelly legs and feet!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxxx

Mo's Digital Pencil challenges on Facebook.....

Chipboard 'Boo!' from MIC.
Papers- Echo Park Arsenic and Lace (digital).
Morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil Challenges over on facebook. ( please click on the pink writing to find us there!) and this month I decided to go with something different for you all and make a sketch for you to follow. I love a good sketch to sink my teeth into so I went with one of my favourite card layouts for you to follow....
Remember to follow Mo's Challenge Rules ...
use at least one Mo Manning image...
NEW creations only! (No back linking)...
And, please, only ONE entry per person!

I couldn't resist using one of the super sweet new witches in the store, Little Witch Wendolyn.Oh my, I adore her!!!! and if you've been following my blog a while, you will know I love all things halloween!!

I was even super lucky enough to get the awesome little Chipboard 'Boo!' in my chippies pack from Zoe at MIC. Oh my golly gosh! if you don't have it, you need it! it comes with the shadow layer for the actual Boo! word. I used the 2" size for this card and just coloured it up with my promarkers before popping it out of it's little sheet and added a little sparkle to it.

Right, I need to go get tidying a bit, the house looks like a bombsite with summer holiday fun taking priority of mamma cleaning duties (...well, what can I say, the choice of hoovering over making a matchbox car track with Mo...we all know which cutie will win mamma's time first in my house!!!!).

Thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks challenge #204.....Autumn Glow

Papers- Crate Paper Oh Darling.
Dies- MFT BluePrints 5.

It's time for another fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and it's time for some relaxing colour inspiration!!! the Tiddly Inkers want you to think.....

Autumn Glow!

So below is a colour chart for you follow with some super sweet autumn colours.
( huge thanks to designseeds)

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I just could not resist inking up my gorgeous new DeerHeart clear stamp set for this challenge. There is just something way too cute about her not to ink her up!!

I opted for stamping her and her little deer up in Rich Cocoa memento ink. It's juat a gentler line than the black and it used the 'browny' part of that fabulous colour palette just perfectly. Then it was down to my Crate Paper Oh Darling 6x6 pad to do the rest for me and oooooh it delivered just perfectly with some fun and gentle layers of patterns.

I used my DieNamics Blueprints 5 to cut the layers out. I've heard a little rumour it's been retired now but ooooh this set is one of my absolute faves. The little tab part is just perfect for sentiments and I stamped the little 'my' right next to the 'deer heart' sentiment so it just touched and I do love how it came out.

Right, I'm off to get some laundry in the washing machine and have a quick hoover before Mo finishes reading! Poppy is malting something chronic and I have black furry girl tumbleweeds floating around my living room!!!!

Thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxx

Space Walk.......

Image- Space Walk.
Papers- Bo Bunny Blast Off.
Dies- Magnolia Doohickey Starlight Lace.
Morning everyone!

I'm waffling on today about my make using the super sweet Space Walk

Do you all ever have a crafty day where you just want to make something for no reason at all other than it makes you smile? well, that was this make for me!! I have no idea what it's for or who it is for but boy oh boy did I enjoy making it!! Mo was busy on RoBlox and Scott was watching the Grand Prix which left little ole me to do something I fancied and Mo suggested a bit of crafting (...that boy knows his mamma so well!!!!!).

The helmets are all glossy but it's tricky to see from the photo!! I can never get things to show up right in photo's but it's sooo cute IRL. I think when Mo finds it he will add it to his stash of mamma made cards that he thinks I don't know he pinches and puts in his desk drawer!! cheeky monkey!!

I'm not really sure what we'll get up to today. Scott is getting ready to pootle off to work and Mo is busy reading in bed so I'm just having a quiet cup of tea and a bloggy womble before we start the day properly.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xx

Garden Wedding........

Image- Garden Wedding from Tiddly Inks.
Morning everyone!!

We are on a bit of a go slow in our house today!! well, it is sunday!! I've managed a shower, made breakfast and had a quick sort out and now I've got as far as turning my pooter on I thought I'd blog my wedding card I needed to make for a garden wedding theme.

Luckily, I have the awesome Christy from Tiddly Inks who drew me this stunning image to help me massively with the style of the bride's dress. I really love to try and match things in as best as I can when I am asked to make a card, it just makes it so much more personal. The bride was having a knee length dress with no veil so I begged.....asked Christy to draw me one!!

So, she drew me 'Garden Wedding'....
Isn't it just perfect? I absolutely squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed when she sent me a message showing me the image.

So then it was just a case of trying to match in the garden theme with butterflies, dragonflies and a few more bits off my lovely list from my BF's mum!! ( it was a long list......and I lost it...arghhhhhhhhhhh!!! then gorgeous hubby came to the rescue finishing it a few days before where it had slipped down the side of my bed!!

The inside is really lovely too as I did a group photo with all the bridesmaids, the couple and their pets but I didn't colour that so it's no sharing a piccy I'm afraid! he he!

Right, I am off into town now with Scott and Mo to see if I can find something for my head for my cousins wedding next weekend. I am so excited about it so I want to try and look nice!!

Huge hugs Lou xxxxx
